TIPS + TRICKS FOR INSTALLING

Soft Tail CrashBars Tip:

Tip: Start with 2 bolts on your shifter side LOOSE, just to help hold the crash bar in place. Move to brake side and align all those holes before you tighten everything up. Insert the two shorter supplied bolts into the open holes.

Roadglide/Throttle sensor wiring Tip:

Use a Shoes lace or paracord works great. Start with the hard side first. TBW side! Take a nut or something small but heavy and fish a lace through the bars. Now that you have just a lace on either side.

What I do is tape the lace to the wires the wrong way first for about 3”. Then fish hook tight and taped back towards the way you're going to pull the wires. Tape another lace to the lace you’re pulling so basically when you pull the wires you’ll have a LOOSE free lace in with the wires. Throttle side only. Push and pull to get the wires through. Use some dish soup for lube. Now you have the hand control wires through take the free lace and repeat for the throttle by wire. Left side will seem easy after that.

Street Glide MX Tbars Tip:

Fully install the pull back plate and the bars (riser bushings and washers are the same as stock, plate only resplaces riser clamps). After installation  place the lower nacelle up to the bars, mark center of the bars ON the nacelle. Bars are 1.25" so give yourself some room and cut 1.5" (0.75" on either side of center point). Carefully cut the plastic with whatever means you have
